Dr. Ng Yu

Chairman

Dr. Ng Yu (“Dr. Ng”), is the Chairman of the Board of Amber Hill Group. He is also the Chairman and Executive Director of the Board of International Genius Company (stock code: 33) and the Founder and Chairman of Smile Charity Foundation. He has extensive experience in financial innovation, internet technology, and asset management and has broad commercial ties in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Europe, and America.

Dr. Ng graduated from King’s College in Hong Kong and afterward studied in the United States. He obtained an Advanced Technology Leadership Professional Certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Family Wealth Inheritance Program Certificate from the Harvard Law School. Dr. Ng was granted of Doctor of Business Administration (Honoris Causa) from Westcliff University in March 2021. Dr. Ng now is the adjunct associate professor and the Dean’s Advisor of the Business School of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

The Amber Hill Group, under the lead of Dr. Ng, is primarily engaged in a variety of licensed and regulated businesses, including financial services such as life insurance, asset management, wealth management, family trusts, securities trading, and futures trading.

The Smile Charity Foundation, founded by Dr. Ng, is dedicated to addressing the needs of impoverished children in Mainland China, especially in the field of education, by donating daily necessities, school supplies, scholarships, and school buses and providing funds to build and repair school buildings in various regions of Mainland China.

Dr. Ng was the Executive Director of Target Insurance (Holdings) Limited (stock code: 6161) from December 2020 to May 2022.

Dr. Lin Feng

Executive Director

Dr. Lin has extensive experience in corporate finance, franchising and scale development. Dr. Lin founded MyCharm, a franchised retail brand in 2011 and Guangzhou Baikong Biotechnology Limited in 2015, focusing on research vector control technology. His innovative research achievement and intellectual property rights have contributed to the development of biotechnology market in Mainland China. In the same year, Dr. Lin established Shenzhen Qianhai Water & Wood Fund Management Limited, principally engaged in the algorithmic trading & private equity,  and introduced one of the five most significant overseas hedge funds into China market.

Mr. Dai Chengyan

Chief Executive Officer, Greater China

Prior to joining Amber Hill Group, Mr. Dai has gained extensive experience in various well-known international conglomerates and financial institutions, including China Resources Shenzhen International Trust, China Merchants Bank, and Guotai Junan Securities. Throughout his career, he has gained abundant experience and remarkable achievements in dealing with in-border asset management business, wealth management platforms, and private banking business especially in the emerging family trust and charity trust. 

He obtained the Master’s degree in Business Administration in Maastricht School of Management.

Alex Cheung

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Amber Hill, Mr. Cheung has worked at several Hong Kong listed companies, including acting as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer at Bonjour Holdings Limited, and as Executive Director , Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Huscoke Holdings Limited. Since 2011, Mr. Cheung has been appointed as the Independent Non-Executive Director at Zall Smart Commerce Group Ltd.

Mr. Cheung has in-depth knowledge of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, Hong Kong and Mainland tax planning, company laws and regulations as well as group financial planning. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Cheung has been working back and forth between Hong Kong and Mainland China. Since joining Bonjour Holdings Limited, he has carried out Bonjour Holdings Limited’s strategic plan to develop the Mainland market. He comprehensively restructured the business line of the subsidiaries and retail stores in the Mainland and keenly discovered the opportunities offered by e-commerce. He led the Hong Kong e-commerce team to enter into the Mainland market and as a result, Bonjour Holdings Limited became one of the first approved Hong Kong funded enterprises that set up a store on Tmall platform.

Mr. Cheung graduated from the University of Bradford with Master of Business Administration and Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts.
