Representatives of Smile Charity Foundation, U-hearts Foundation and Cihang Philanthropy Association set out for a two-day (from 20th – 21st November 2020) inspection in Wuzhou, Guangxi.
On 20th November, the team was divided into two groups, sponsor team and inspection team and arrived at Wuzhou, at 1pm. The director of Wuzhou Care of Next Generation Committee Mr. Guo and Mr. Li gave a warm welcome to the arrival of the inspection team and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Smile Charity Foundation for its continuous good deeds to help the poor in education in Guangxi Province.
After a short break, Director Li highlighted the learning, living and further education situation of the poor students, and then led the team to visit Mushuang Township Friendship Primary School, Mushuang Township Junior High School and Cangwu Middle School respectively.

The volunteers interacted with the students of Cangwu Middle School
the host briefly introduced the volunteers and the purpose of the event. Afterwards, the volunteers and the students had an ice-breaking game and an interactive game to get to know each other. During the vision drawing session, the volunteers asked the students about their studies and life aspirations and encouraged them to study hard, realize their life values, become the pillar of the country and contribute to society. Finally, the volunteers presented gifts to the students from the first to the third grade of high school and took a group photo.

On the morning of 21st November, the inspection team went to Xinjun Central School and Huicun Primary School in Daye Town to learn about the reconstruction and well drilling of the school respectively. In the afternoon, the inspection team went to Xuetian Primary School in Shiqiao Town to learn about the progress and effect of the construction of heat insulation layer in the school. In addition to inspecting the progress of the project, the team also learnt more about the difficulties and needs of the school.

The volunteer team of Smile Charity Foundation said: We have gained a lot from the visit and investigation, and all of us have realized the enthusiasm needed to be a volunteer.
