On April 11 at 7:30 p.m., the "Love-Goes-On Charity Concert 2021" was held at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
The concert was organized by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, sponsors included Amber Hill Financial Holdings, Smile Charity Foundation and Target Insurance (Holdings)LTD. After deducting the cost, all the funds raised from the event will be used for the service and development funds of the U-hearts Foundation to support the growth and education of young people.
The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra is the musical arm of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Foundation, dedicated to helping the needy through beautiful and moving music. Since 1999, the orchestra has held several concerts each year and has raised over HK$50 million for charitable organizations in Hong Kong. In this concert, the Amber Hill Group and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra will play the melodies of charity and spread the notes of love together.

Before the performance, Dr. Ng Yu, chairman of Amber Hill Group, handed over the donation (a total of HK $580,000) by Amber Hill Financial Holdings to the U-hearts Foundation and accepted the certificate of appreciation and the certificate of appointment (as the honorary patron of the U-hearts Foundation) from the U-hearts Foundation and took a group photo.
The concert was conducted by Mr. Chiu Kai-keung, who together with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra presented Beethoven's classical music. The beauty and the unique emotional tension of the performance made the audience immerse themselves and enjoy the beauty of high-quality art. Through "BEETHOVEN Overture to King Stephen", the audience could feel the magnificent splendor created by the infinite changes of melodies; through "BEETHOVEN Symphony NO.2", which symbolizes the light, the audience could feel the infinite love for life, and see the hope and the beauty with the attitude of moving forward; Through BEETHOVEN Symphony NO.3 "Eroica", we will enter into the heroic journey, bringing a strong and fearless spirit to reform and innovation, and a deep and sincere emotion to pursue freedom. The exciting melody and majestic momentum captured the hearts of the audience, and when the last note fell slowly, the audience applauded for a long time.
"Listen to you, listen to me", in the name of music, connect you and me. This charity concert is a combination of music and charity care, using music to practice charity, using melodies to convey love and hope, allowing more people to feel the warmth and power of charity, and helping young people to light up their hopes and realize their dreams with a heart full of love.
In order to spread the concept of good deeds, gather the power of public welfare, allow more people to participate in charity and let more disadvantaged groups feel the love and warmth, the event specially introduced the charity actions in which Smile Charity Foundation participated. Since its establishment in 2019, Smile Charity Foundation has donated and benefited more than 120,000 individuals. Smile Charity Foundation fully supports public welfare education, donating five school buildings and five water wells to remote areas in Guangxi and Jiangxi, acquiring teaching materials and equipment for school buildings, sending living materials and school supplies to poor families; actively participating in social welfare to help with poverty alleviation, donated the Yuantian Village Party Service Center, and made donations to the Butterfly House and Tungwah Hospital. During the pandemic and up to now, approximately 100,000 masks were donated.
